TERMS & CONDITIONS:

These Terms & Conditions govern all services provided by SolidFix Handyman & Construction (“SolidFix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking or receiving services, the client (“you”) agrees to the following terms.

1. Scope of Work

SolidFix provides handyman, installation, repair, maintenance, and construction-related services as agreed upon prior to the start of work. Only work specifically authorized by the client is included in the quoted scope.

Any additional work requested beyond the original scope will be billed separately.

2. Estimates & Quotes

All estimates are based on the information provided by the client. Photos and detailed descriptions help ensure accurate quoting.

Estimates may change if:

  • Site conditions differ from what was described

  • Additional work is requested

  • Materials differ from those specified

3. Minimum Service Visit

A minimum service visit applies to all jobs. The minimum number of hours will be communicated at the time of booking.

4. Deposits & Scheduling

A deposit is required to secure scheduled service time.
Deposits are applied toward the final invoice.

Appointments are not confirmed until the deposit is received.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

  • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Accepted payment methods include:

  • Credit and debit cards (via our website)

  • Cash

  • Cash App

  • Apple Pay

  • Venmo

  • Zelle

Deposits may be paid online through our website or via any accepted payment method.

Late or unpaid balances may result in additional fees and suspension of future service.

7. Materials & Products

Client-supplied materials and products are not warrantied by SolidFix.

SolidFix is not responsible for:

  • Manufacturer defects

  • Product failures

  • Improper or defective materials supplied by the client

8. Workmanship

SolidFix stands behind its workmanship. Any workmanship-related concerns must be reported within a reasonable time after service completion.

We are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing conditions

  • Hidden structural, electrical, or plumbing issues

  • Manufacturer defects

9. Property Conditions

Client acknowledges that some properties may have hidden or unforeseen conditions. SolidFix is not responsible for damage resulting from concealed defects or unsafe conditions beyond reasonable inspection.

10. Access & Safety

Client agrees to provide safe, clear access to the work area and to ensure pets, children, and personal belongings are secured during service.

11. Liability Limitation

SolidFix’s liability is limited to the cost of the services performed. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages.

12. Photography & Marketing

SolidFix may photograph completed work for portfolio and marketing purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
